Content Specialist
Junto is a Denver-based digital marketing agency that is powered by top vetted freelancers from around the world. We currently collaborate with 22 freelancers, ranging from content writers, web developers, QA specialists, etc. We are looking for our first full time hire in-house to grow with us.

We’re searching for an entrepreneurial minded individual to manage, execute, and improve on our client’s content creation and promotion efforts. You’ll be responsible for managing, supporting, and occasionally reporting on client deliverables and results.

The role will consist of wearing many different hats. We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented person with a problem-solving mindset. You won’t always know the right answer and sometimes you’ll screw up.  We’re looking for someone who able to fail fast and learn quickly from their mistakes.

We respect the hell out of our team and need someone who does the same. No drama, no bad-mouthing, no bullshit. We’re blunt. We tell it how it is, and we’re a stronger team because of it.

We don’t believe in “9-5,” but we’re a young and fast-growing company. Sometimes we’ll work 35 hours a week - other times 65. We need someone who can ride that wave with us.

We believe in autonomy and don’t micromanage. We put full trust in our team to kick ass at their role. Just as long as you give us reason to do so.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee and assist in delivery of all client deliverables, including:

Ideating, outlining, editing, and publishing ongoing content for client accounts.
Identifying link building opportunities and overseeing the outreach communication process.
Managing task timelines to ensure that freelance team members complete each step of the process on time.

Assist in implementation of ongoing SEO improvements for all client accounts
Assist our Director of Traffic Generation in strategic planning of client accounts
Working with our Director of Traffic Generation to build and refine marketing processes

Required Skills:

Proficient writing and editing skills
1+ years of customer service experience
1+ years of content marketing experience

Content ideation and editing
Content optimization and publication on client CMS

Basic Understanding of SEO

Understanding of the core elements that determine search rankings
Previous experience building and implementing SEO foundations
Understanding of Google’s core algorithm updates
Understanding of the difference between black hat and white hat SEO

1+ years of marketing analytics experience

Working with Google Analytics or a similar analytics platform to analyze website performance

Willingness to learn fast, work hard, and celebrate harder

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience with SEMRush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
Previous experience with the WordPress and HubSpot content management systems
PPC management (Facebook Ads, Google AdWords, etc.)
Basic knowledge of HTML
HubSpot Inbound Marketing and Google Analytics certification
