In order to achieve our mission to serve 1000s more students and accelerate our growth, we recently raised a $21M Series B round with top tier investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Social Capital, Harrison Metal, and Cowboy Ventures. Now, we’re looking to add a Content Marketing Coordinator to the team.

As the Content Marketing Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for generating content to help working adults go back to school and achieve their education goals. This role will work across multiple departments by creating copy and designs for email, landing pages, design, website, blogs, and infographics. You’ll be a critical member of the team, helping shape the written voice of the company while making a direct impact on students’ lives by helping them achieve their educational goals.

A day in our open, collaborative workspace might look like:

- Working with stakeholders across the company to collaborate on a variety of copy requests and creative content generation.
- Helping build and manage an editorial calendar to support a consistent publication of content to nurture our prospects and build trust with our students.
- Collaborating with the product and design teams to develop and refine Guild’s written voice.
- Brainstorming how to incorporate visual content into our marketing campaigns in collaboration with the design team.
- Working alongside marketing teammates to develop a social strategy and maintain daily and weekly updates across Guild’s social profiles.

In this role, you’ll grow and expand your expertise by:

- Working cross functionality to learn the ins and outs of a dynamic marketing funnel.
- Developing and refining your voice as a marketing copywriter by addressing a variety of use-cases across Guild’s business.
- Learning to incorporate both quantitative and qualitative data in your content creation strategy and execution.
- Applying your skills as a writer and marketer to find creative solutions to difficult problems.

You’ll know if you’re successful by:

- Growing to demonstrate mastery of Guild’s voice in your copywriting.
- Improving conversion rates across the marketing and enrollment funnel.
- Speeding up the execution of marketing campaigns by efficiently producing content to fuel our digital and offline campaigns.
- Achieving established OKRs and expectations while demonstrating your passion for our mission - you'll receive ongoing feedback through your 1:1 meetings and go through bi-annual Structured Growth Conversations
- Bringing enthusiasm, flexibility, and patience to the role to a fast-paced, fun, and collaborative environment.

- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to express Guild’s voice and value clearly across many marketing channels.
