POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for concept, design and execution of all visual brand communications and materials including print, web, digital, presentations, packaging, signage, and photography/video. Must be curious and proactively seek to learn and understand Forum’s different business verticals in order to effectively develop strategies and designs that will support business goals. Must be a good communicator and an expert visual storyteller who can show unique ways to solve creative and communication problems. Must be extremely well-organized, self-motivated, and able to juggle a number of projects effortlessly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Work with the Managing Director – Branding & Marketing and other departments to lead all stages of the design process for assigned projects, including concept development and execution, art direction and collaboration with key stakeholders and team members.
-Create all internal and external-facing company marketing and communications materials – including, but not limited to email templates, newsletters, websites, intranet, PowerPoint presentations, Word and Excel templates, business cards, email signatures, digital and print ads, landing pages, banners and signage, floorplans and site maps, pitch decks/pieces, event collateral, etc.
-Lead brand development for property portfolio – including, but not limited to creating brand identity and logo, establishing color palettes, developing detailed brand standards/guidelines, setting visual inspiration and direction, typography, naming and URL exploration / verification, supporting brand platform assets, etc.
-Own production of all assets – researching sources, pricing and options and making recommendations that best suit budget and business objectives.
-Collaborate closely with various internal teams and external resources, such as copywriters, graphic designs, backend web developers, animators/illustrators to generate workable concepts and ideas to deliver on established marketing and communication initiatives.
-Own and lead brainstorm and strategy sessions to develop ideas, themes and concepts, and effectively articulate those in visual form.
-Contribute to overall creative strategy development and share best practices that keep the firm’s projects and output innovative and ahead of the curve.
-Help oversee and manage outside creative contractors/freelancers, agencies or vendors – including working with Human Resources on recruiting, interviewing and selection recommendations for any internal creative positions.
-Review all designs, copy and related details prior to releasing projects to Managing Director or other team members, to ensure accuracy and quality.
-Update, maintain, and trouble shoot company website(s).

-Strong background in graphic design, composition, typography.

-Ability to work well under pressure to meet project deadlines.
-Experience managing freelancers, contractors, production people/vendors and agencies.

-Trusted network of various creative and agency resources, a plus

EDUCATION & TECHNICAL SKILLS
-Bachelor’s degree in visual or fine arts or graphic design.
-8+ years of proven experience as a graphic designer or art director.
-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
-Proficiency in video editing software, such as iMovie or Adobe Premiere.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
-Proficiency in WordPress web themes and plug-ins.
-Familiarity with HTML, a plus.
-Familiarity with real estate and/or financial services industry, a plus
