CIG is seeking a capable and organized project manager for our PR, marketing and advertising accounts. The project manager will work with local and state government and the private sector on campaigns that work to transform Colorado and make a positive impact.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage day-to-day project activities and serve as the primary contact for clients.
- Direct the ideation, development, execution and evaluation of PR, marketing and advertising campaigns.
- Manage the campaign process from beginning to end, including organizing brainstorms, developing creative briefs, coordinating creative reviews, leading client presentations, trafficking creative, monitoring campaigns and conducting full campaign assessments.
- Work closely and cooperatively with the creative team to ensure deliverables meet client needs and accomplish goals and objectives.
- Work closely and cooperatively with media buyers throughout the planning process and campaign execution.
- Establish and maintain relationships with statewide creative and production vendors for subcontracted services.
- Manage project schedules and budgets.
- Monitor project activities and staff billings to ensure campaigns stay on time and on budget.
- Report regularly to senior staff and seek guidance as needed.
- Set a positive example for junior staff and serve as a mentor.
- Support new business efforts as needed, including developing proposal and pitch content, determining internal needs, managing staff support and participating in interviews.
WHAT WE'D LIKE YOU TO HAVE
- 5+ years of relevant experience with public relations, advertising and/or marketing campaigns within an agency.
- Degree in a relevant field is preferred but may be substituted with relevant work experience.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. If you don’t already understand AP Style, you’re excited to learn about it.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage a diverse workload and unique teams, and complete projects on time with minimal supervision.
- A commitment to quality and a passion to constantly learn and evolve communication strategies.
Bonus qualifications (please identify in cover letter, if applicable):
- Experience working with local/state government.
- Experience working on public campaigns that make a positive impact.
- Experience running social media and/or digital ad campaigns.

Salary Range: $62,000 – $75,000 based on experience
