Job Description
AOR’s Project Manager is the point-person in charge of assigned projects within the agency and is the bridge between account and creative teams tasked with the execution of the project. They ensure the scope of the project is sound, reporting regularly on the progress of the project and that it is staying on the approved schedule and within budget. Project managers strive to deliver every project on time and within scope. Project managers excel at keeping the peace internally and maintaining their cool during strenuous times. A great project manager is prepared to deal with pushback from all sides of the agency and provide reasoning for tough decisions. Necessary qualities include adamantly detail-oriented yet able to think long-term and big-picture, process-driven, understanding, flexible, excellent communicator...and a sense of humor doesn’t hurt.

Roles and Responsibilities
-Be a problem solver and team player
-Coordinate internal and external resources for the flawless execution of projects
-Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
-Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
-Ensures resource availability and proper allocation
-Develops a detailed project plan to track progress and completion
-Schedules project kickoff meeting and project status meetings with key stakeholders
-Manages changes in project scope, schedule and costs
-Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques and report to stakeholders
-Manages the relationship with all stakeholders and provides clear and constant communication throughout the process
-Performs risk management to minimize project risks
-Maintains comprehensive project documentation
-Always looking to reevaluate and improve processes to increase efficiencies
*Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or new ones may be assigned as needed

Requirements
-At least 2 years relevant project management experience
-Experience with project management software
-Experience with web design & development projects

Our Ideal Candidate Has
-A passion for learning & optimizing software
-Experience in managing digital marketing projects (ex. a conceptual understanding of industry standard, digital marketing technologies such as Google Analytics or LinkedIn ads)
-Experience with Wordpress (ex. can navigate through the admin area, understands how taxonomies work)
-Experience with Kanban boards & agile methodologies (Asana, Trello, Bugherd, etc.)
-Experience with Workamajig (Double Bonus points for this!)

What Does Success Look Like in this Position?
*With Team / Dept:
-Working with other Project Managers daily for project status updates, workload, and coordination on projects, schedules and resources
-Working with Director of Finance and Operations on project management software set-up, efficiencies, new features, training and implementation
-Working with Director of Finance and Operations on agency utilization monthly to insure the most efficient scheduling possible
-Reviewing project budget/scopes regularly with Director of Finance and Operations and -Account Team to keep projects clean and on-track
*With Agency:
-Keeping all lines of communication open and coordination tight on agency workflow processes – making sure all bases are covered day-to-day and with changes
-Ensuring Account Team is well aware when tasks are out of scope and projects are running close to or over budget
-Keeping the balance between all agency departments so that projects and budgets run as smoothly as possible.
*With Client / Work:
-Timeliness of responses and turnaround for client requests
-Providing detailed estimates on budget and deadlines
-Accommodating time-sensitive client requests as much as possible
-Ensure schedules and budgets are followed accurately and being proactive on follow-up/notification of said items
-Pulling Weekly Traffic Reports to share/collaborate with account team for project success
-Reviewing project budget/scopes regularly with Director of Finance and Operations and Account Team to keep projects clean and on-track

Reports To
Director of Finance and Operations

Salary Range
$50-75 starting salary
*Salary will be based on previous experience.
