THE POSITION
We’re looking for a Designer to join our growing Creative Services team. The ideal candidate possesses strong conceptual skills, a kickass portfolio and a self-motivated, energetic attitude with the ability to juggle multiple projects (both digital and print) at once. This is a full-time, in-office position.
Required:
-2-3 Years experience in a fast-paced agency environment
-A well-rounded portfolio demonstrating strong typographic and design skills with solid examples of branding and identity work
-A unique, fresh, forward-thinking approach to design with an eagerness to break the mold
-Knowledge of UI design and demonstrated the ability to convert digital strategy and wireframes into unique, forward-thinking web comps
-Ability to work quickly and autonomously, while managing multiple projects and deadlines
-Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including — but not limited to — InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
-Ability to coherently and confidently provide rationale for your work as well as provide meaningful feedback to team members
-Excellent attention to detail and organization
-A dedicated interest in relevant industry work and best practices
Bonus Points:
-HTML/CSS coding experience. Extra bonus points for experience coding emails.
-Experience using Sketch to create digital assets
-An understanding of current SEO best practices
-Expertise in web best practices and usability
-Wordpress experience
Reports to: Art Director
Hours: 8hrs/day, Mon–Fri; some work may require additional time outside these hours
Requirements: In-office position, occasional travel
