AOR’s Account Coordinator (AC)
AOR’s Account Coordinator is an integral part of the account team at AOR. The Account Coordinator is responsible for supporting and assisting the Account Executives and senior leadership in their day to day tasks including, but not limited to: client meetings, project management, timeline execution, calendar scheduling, administrative tasks, and more.
The account coordinator position is a role that involves staying organized, creating solutions to problems, managing budgets and timelines, and providing excellent attention to detail, all while giving a high level of customer service and experience for every project and client that the Account Team works with.
Requirements for this Position:
-1-2 years advertising, media relations and/or PR experience
-Experience working on website development projects (preferably WordPress)
-Experience working on integrated/360 campaigns across a number of touchpoints
-Experience working on branding projects
-Experience working on projects that require coordination between several partner agencies/vendors
-Google Suite proficiency
Bonus Points For:
-Knowledge of print production
-Experience with Workamajig, BugHerd, WordPress, Proposify and/or Keynote
Overall Role:
-Assist in the day-to-day operations of the account team to ensure quality deliverables to clients so that they may better grow their businesses
-Provide a high level of customer service to accounts + maintain stellar internal communication including quick email responses, solutions to problems, and a positive attitude to any and all clients, no matter the size
-Support team members with agency communications to keep projects moving through the agency
-Provide a new and fresh when it comes to client needs and problems, staying up-to-date on their industry trends as well as marketing and advertising trends
-Display a proficient level of knowledge in all areas of marketing that AOR functions, including branding, messaging/positioning, website development, marketing campaigns, etc.
-Serve as the go-to for resource for internal questions related to edits, revisions, and project timelines
* The goal of the AC position is to learn how work moves through the agency efficiently and to learn how to solely manage clients. The Account Coordinator is expected to eventually grow into an Account Executive.
Specific Job Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
-Be a problem solver and team player
-Daily administrative tasks for clients, which includes taking & distributing notes, putting edits into work flow systems, saving documents to internal databases, passing work from agency to client, owning the shipping/fulfillment process for clients as needed, managing meeting schedules, proofreading, vendor relationship management, and being a point of contact for basic information on several accounts
-Provide account team operation support for specified list of clients with oversight
-Work with project management, production, creative teams, and other account management persons to ensure timelines are developed and implemented
-Ensure client feedback is articulated thoroughly and effectively, provided to project management teams
-Administrative work (data input, QA’ing, browser testing) of WordPress sites during the -Development process for scheduling into the system
-Set up meetings when needed; including room set-up/takedown for client meetings, managing meal orders, and learning the agency technology systems
-Showcase basic knowledge of budget tracking and billing to ensure projects are executed on budget/scope
-Work directly with agency vendors for production projects and facilitate pricing to client with assistance from lead account person
-Write and manage weekly status reports with select clients
-Demonstrate clear and effective communications when dealing with both internal staff and clients
-Responsible for basic historical account information/knowledge – past work, agency/client correspondence, signed estimates, approvals, and proposals
-Demonstrate a keen understanding of the AOR process and be comfortable suggesting process optimizations to help projects run through the agency more smoothly

Salary Range:
$40,000-55,000 base annual salary
*Salary will be based on previous experience.
