Description

The Media Supervisor is a management position focused on the creation, execution and monitoring of media campaigns, creation of strategies and plans, negotiations, as well as analyzing data and future recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage strategic plan development, negotiation and/or execution for digital and traditional paid media campaigns
• Learn all client accounts and staying ahead of industry trends and knowledge
• Work with Director and departmental teams to create, present and execute media plans and reporting analysis
• Serve as a resident expert for paid media inquiries, requests, discrepancies and solutions to achieve goals and objectives and/or to resolve execution issues
• Main contact across digital and traditional media partners to negotiate inventory, investment and performance
• Storyteller through data and insights in post campaign performance and craft strategic POVs to present to clients
• Manage associates including trainings, delegating work, double checking work, constructive criticism and performance reviews

Requirements:
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree. If your degree is in marketing, advertising, communications is a plus
• Minimum of 6 years’ agency experience with media planning, buying or similar role
• Experience managing digital campaigns - research, planning, strategy, buying, execution, analysis and reporting/optimizations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complicated media items into digestible and understandable conversations - both internally and client facing
• Ability to maintain media budgets and overall budget summaries for clients
• Working knowledge of Excel, Campaign Manager, GTM, GA a plus
• Critical thinking and problem solving abilities to think unconventionally when proposing solutions or opportunities
• Strong negotiation skills and understanding of industry and vendors
• Work well under pressure to deliver high quality work within tight deadlines
• Industry thought leader – seeking new opportunities in the media landscape
• Familiar with media tools, including MRI, Nielsen, Media Tools, Kantar, comScore, Scarborough, etc.
• Knowledge of FunctionPoint and Bionic a plus
