Description

We’re a small shop (currently 6 people) doing huge creative work. At Peak, we take pride in creating amazing work that puts the goals of our clients first. We’re currently looking to for a savvy, flexible, and fun designer to join our team on a contract basis with potential to hire. Work-life balance is important, humor is appreciated, and big egos are avoided. We’re happy to call the RiNo neighborhood home, which comes with the perks of great coffee, tasty beers, and some pretty fantastic food options — all within walking or quick scooter ride range. Peak offers flexible hours, but we also expect utmost professionalism and the ability to work effectively and efficiently within core work hours.

Here’s what we’re hoping to find:
Designer that can work autonomously, executing high-quality graphic design, print layout, and branding concepts. Wordpress customization skills are a bonus. Collaboration is always key with our small team, but we also need someone that can take ideas or project manager direction and execute from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:
• Work simultaneously on 3+ projects based on current client workload
• Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites, and other media — including infographics
• Put together disparate elements of a design created by another professional, such as the icons, photographs and other components necessary for a website design
• Consult with clients’ marketing, copywriting and sales teams to create cohesive designs that reflect our clients’ corporate cultures and goals
• Collaborate closely with other members of the team
• Learn and thoroughly follow client brand standards to create on-brand design work
• Work within said brand standards to creatively push to unique concepts
• Prepare, package and preflight final press-ready artwork files

Qualifications:
• At least 2-4 years of professional experience (agency experience is a plus)
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud
• Able to stomach working in Microsoft Word and Powerpoint
• Mac OS work environment
• Wordpress experience is a big plus
• Desire to jump in and help on a wide variety of projects — even the less fun ones
• Detail-oriented and organized work style
• Positive attitude and ability to take direction on projects
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
• Able to work effectively and efficiently without close supervision
