ILONA®, a revered name in the beauty industry, is searching for a creative, part-time, in-house graphic designer. This position reports to and works closely with company CEO.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Retouching, resizing images for website and other digital platforms
• Designing product, barcode and other labels
• Updating website(s), social media pages
• Updating Amazon EBC listings
• Designing postcards, sell-sheets, presentations, flyers, and other marketing materials
• Create compelling, engaging, brand-specific posts for Instagram & Facebook
• Organize and maintain Dropbox account
• If necessary, follow-up with vendors to ensure accuracy
• Maintain a design schedule
• Help keep projects on-time
• Liaise with outside designers and photographers
• Take-on ad hoc projects when necessary
• Ensure brand standards are met across all forms of communication
• Prepare proper art files for vendors and follow through to completion
Qualifications
• Minimum 4-year degree in graphic design or art (B.A. or B.F.A. Preferred), or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years graphic design experience
• Excellent production skills
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software
• Adept with MS Office
• Have own computer with aforementioned software
• Excellent industry contacts
• A discerning eye for fashion and beauty
• A strong portfolio of work demonstrating digital, branding and graphic design
• Pleasant demeanor
• Excellent design layout skills
• Understand graphic design parlance
• Strong communication skills
