We’re looking for a conceptual senior designer/art director who is passionate about producing outstanding creative work. You should have a positive outlook, an exceptional portfolio, an ability to juggle multiple projects, and an affinity with both digital and traditional media.
Our ideal candidate will be a collaborative teammate, a strong communicator and a dynamic presenter. You should be skilled at coming up with cool design ideas that tell a visual story, but also be able to take direction and knock work out quickly.
Our work is as varied as our clientele at ContextWest. On any given day you might be creating a brand identity, designing a website, producing a storyboard, overseeing a shoot, or creating an attention-grabbing ad, email, infographic, social post or success story.
Our ideal candidate will have:
• 5+ years of experience (agency background preferred) in traditional and digital design
• An impressive portfolio of visually arresting creative work
• Complete command of the Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong brand development skills
• An intimate familiarity with digital marketing best practices
• A keen understanding of the interactive design process for websites and emails
• Experience working with:
o UX/UI (Sketch, InVision, XD, etc.)
o HTML and CSS
o WordPress websites
o Email and marketing automation tools
Experience with the following would be a big plus:
• JavaScript and PHP
• Photography
• Video
• Motion graphics
• Illustration
