Our clients include national non-profits like the American Mountain Guides Association and the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education, as well as outdoor brands who are shifting industry paradigms, like Ibex, Alpenglow Expeditions, and Rocky Talkie. We also work with guide services, ski areas, conservation organizations, and other adventure- and experience-driven brands.

Summary of Position:
Bonfire Collective is looking for a Senior Brand Manager to join our team for about 20-25 hours/week to start.The Brand Manager will be running a key account in the outdoor apparel industry, collaborating and working with a brand team consisting of creatives, media, and strategy. It is imperative that the Brand Manager have expertise managing complex accounts and teams; additional expertise/experience in business turnaround is ideal.

Reports To:
Director of Strategy

Expected Duties Include…
Brand Management & Strategy
Develop a deep understanding of clients DTC, ecommerce, outdoor apparel brand, aligning all campaigns and executions with clients brand strategy.
Have a thorough understanding of client’s business and industry, analyze client’s business results and keep internal & client teams up to date.
Consult with internal teams to communicate client objectives and to develop alternative strategic solutions.
Use market research information to evaluate, adjust, and redirect campaigns.
Shape strategy, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to generate additional revenue and drive incremental client growth.
Account & Client Management:
Act as main contact with the client & the internal team on a day-to-day basis.
Manage & lead internal team (creatives, media & strategy) - oversee all projects from start to finish; leader in every step of the process and responsible for driving team collaboration.
Advocate on behalf of clients internally: offer a deep understanding of clients industry, business and marketing goals – continually drive value through offering this perspective.
Account maintenance: responsible for the development/execution of ongoing account maintenance work through our project management software (Monday.com) & time management software (toggl).
Mentoring of staff, contractors, and clients.
Financial Stewardship & Profitability:
Develop estimates, track budgets/hours, monthly time reconciliations, monthly projections, negotiations.
Build trust and drive revenue through opportunity identification.
Owned/Earned Media (alongside a partner PR team and our digital media strategist)
Manage and evolve comprehensive organic social media strategies through to execution that are on-brand and results-driven.
Working knowledge of organic social best practices and proven experience executing campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and beyond.
Experience overseeing and managing a social media calendar.
Experience recruiting and managing a team of brand ambassadors, athletes, and influencers.
Experience developing unique and successful social media campaigns and stories using a variety of content types including graphics, photography, and video.
An understanding of paid media planning and how it compliments owned and earned media.
Collaborating on advertising strategies, content strategies, and creative campaigns.

Our Ideal Candidate Has…
8-10 years brand/account management experience, with 5+ of those years in an advertising agency.
The outdoors embedded in your DNA, and ideally experience in the outdoor industry.
Proven track record of successful campaign management across fully-integrated, complex marketing campaigns.
Deep understanding of DTC marketing, preferably through Shopify
Previous experience with project management systems preferred (we use Monday, Slack and Google Drive).
The ability to analyze data and develop strategic recommendations.
Creatively strong with knowledge of creative/visual best practices and principles for social and digital projects.

Stoke to self-start and is comfortable in a fast paced environment, juggling multiple assignments on tight timelines.

Location:
As a company, we offer tons of flexibility on where, how, and when you work, and this position can be fully remote. However, if you’re located in the Denver–Boulder metro area, there is opportunity for partial on-site work. Bonfire Collective is based in downtown Golden, Colorado, and we just moved into a great new office.

Hours:
Up to 20-25 hours/week as a part-time employee. Opportunity to increase hours and scope over time.

Compensation:
$50–$65/hour DOE. Opportunity to increase rate over time based on performance.
