We are the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. We are the nonprofit organization that brings Denver acclaimed Broadway touring productions, original Theatre Company works, unconventional Off-Center theatre experiences, statewide education programs, once-in-a-lifetime events and more.

Email Marketing Manager: The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) is accepting applications for the position of Email Marketing Manager. The email Marketing Manager is a member of the Marketing Insights & Technology team reporting to the Director of Insights & Strategy with daily management by the Sr. Marketing Technologist. The role provides internal expertise on digital email marketing tools and tactics that drive online activity and ticket sales and is accountable for increasing email metrics, engagement and conversions.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Work with internal clients, analyst and supervisors to optimize the email automation system and develop segmented email campaigns that utilize A / B testing, a messaging matrix developed for each patron persona, and analytics that drive engagement and sales to 150,000+ patron households.
• Responsible for weekly email delivery
• Test, track and manage extensive campaigns according to patron personas, email responsiveness, customer segmentation, etc.
• Stay abreast of evolving technologies in the email marketing space that either impact current services or provide an opportunity for the growth of the DCPA’s digital efforts.
• Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts
• Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices
• Train internal clients on Email Automation system so that they can manage bulk correspondence to various groups (i.e. ushers, volunteers, premium membership groups).
• Provide subject matter expertise to marketing team and internal clients to ensure that email-marketing opportunities are fully integrated with other parts of the marketing mix to provide a seamless experience to consumers.
• Develop dashboards that track email effectiveness in order to refine email-marketing strategies and ensure continued effectiveness.
• Serve as backup to other teammates to maintain content and functionality of DCPA Website properties
• Serve as backup to other teammates to create online forms for internal clients.
• Assist with implementation of Google Tag Manager, conversion tags and other tracking pixels on DCPA Website properties.
• Work with cross functional teams to research and implement new application tools and processes

Requirements Include:
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing strategic email marketing campaigns or similar experience.
• Advanced experience with HTML, CSS (specific to coding emails) and email client rendering problem solving
• Proficiency in marketing automation technology
• Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics
• Familiarity with analytical and database tools
• Strong project management skills
• An ability to work under tight deadlines
