JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re currently seeking a Design Intern for our summer internship program (woo!) at AOR to work on campaign, branding, print, and digital projects (and everything in-between). This will be a 40-hr/week paid internship running from the beginning of June to mid-August. AOR is a very fast-paced agency—quick thinking, multi-tasking, and a high-energy personality with an eagerness to learn and grow are key.
RESPONSIBILITIES
_Work alongside creative, account, and operations teams to bring concepts and ideas to life through visual communication for brands and other client work
_Succinctly pair word and image by working closely with the design team and copywriters
_Collaboration with the account intern and intern mentors to run a dedicated intern project from start to finish using the AOR process
_Ideate and brainstorm strategic marketing solutions with active participation and contribution to all necessary internal meetings and reviews
_Engage with clients and outside vendors when appropriate
REQUIRED SKILLS
_A well-rounded, knock-your-socks-off portfolio demonstrating strong typographic and design skills with solid examples of branding and identity work
_(Pursuing a) Bachelor’s degree in graphic/communication design or a similar field from a four-year college or university
_Ability to work quickly and autonomously, while managing multiple projects and deadlines
_Ability to coherently and confidently provide rationale for your work
_Excellent attention to detail and organization
_Master knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
_A love (or exuberant tolerance) for canine friends in the workplace

_Prior agency experience
_After Effects or Premiere Pro experience
_Experience coding HTML emails
