Print Production

I'm a production designer at Huebner Petersen. In addition to my production duties, I help manage content, write copy and edit videos for our three accounts, Jayco, Starcraft and Entegra Coach.

NYC producer based in Denver As a highly experienced studio and location production professional, I specialize in commercial editorial, advertising and catalogue print work. My extensive national and international production contacts enable me to produce shoots across the US, including NYC, Miami, and Denver, as well as internationally. I’m able to work anywhere in the States, and more than willing to travel and work abroad. Clients include Kohls, Belk, Original Marines, Vivident Gum, Crest Whitestrips, Neosporin, and E.P.T. In addition, my expertise as a freelance art buyer and photo producer at AGA Catalog Marketing and Design (clients included AVON and Lane Bryant), as well as five years as a photographer agent at Mark Edward Inc. enables me to offer consulting services to photographers, such as assistance with marketing and self-promotion, bidding and estimating projects, and fee negotiation.

I've been in the graphics, printing and publishing industry for a long time. I'm an expert at setting up files for just about any printing process under the sun. I'm also a Photoshop whiz, capable at color-correction, photo-retouching and photo-manipulation. Most of my employment has been in the publishing field. However, I have also done plenty of logo work, brochures, illustration and vehicle wrap designs. I'd always been into drawing and graphic design, even before I knew what it was. My grade school notebooks were full of doodles of rock band logos and inventive monsters. I don't want to date myself, but to this day I can still draw the Rolling Stones lips logo with my eyes closed. So after a brief stint studying history at Muskingum College, I transferred to the University of Akron and enrolled in the BFA of Graphic Arts program. I instantly knew I had made the right choice. I graduated three years later and went off to Washington, DC where I landed my first job in publishing. I stayed in DC for four years working in ad agencies, and design firms. My reasons for moving westward were largely motivated by skiing and Denver's proximity to the Rockies. So I was thrilled to be able to land a design and production position in the marketing department for SKI Magazine, Skiing Magazine and Warren Miller Entertainment. I have worked there ever since, doing design, print-production management and skiing as much as humanly possible.

Back in the day (a Tuesday) I was introduced to the art of typography and identity design. My world has not been the same since. In pursuit of my grid-induced dream, I headed to Colorado State University for my BFA in graphic design and have an insatiable urge to learn new things. My passion for having a final project being something I can feel, touch, and embrace has led me to love the world of communication design from concept through production. My in-depth knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign makes me an efficient designer and has lead me to be one of the top billers at my most recent agency. While I am driven enough to work on a project alone; I appreciate working with a team to create an integrated solution. My experience in social media uses Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, and Twitter in both corporate and social settings to create and engage communities.
