As a PR Account Manager and with the support of your team, you’ll manage the comprehensive PR needs of our clients with their goals and objectives in mind. This includes, but is not limited to: PR strategies and campaigns creation and execution, frequent copywriting, thought leadership work, heavy media relations, partnership development, and occasional content marketing. You’ll also identify any current client’s needs and assist in new client acquisition.

You’re an exceptionally talented, experienced PR professional with strong food-related media relationships (hey, we said “ideal candidate”!) You work well independently, and in a team. You enjoy your work and take great pride in it, and are only willing to work for a company that you feel good about supporting. You’re a strategic, creative thinker who loves to develop and execute integrated PR programs. You’re an avid reader, on top of the latest PR trends, and enjoy leveraging those trends with your clients. You’re outgoing and have a deep love for networking and relationship building. Most of all, you’re passionate about good food and the people behind it, and you're excited to help them succeed.

Typical Marketing Account Manager duties include:
Act as the main point of contact throughout the client’s lifecycle: proposals and pitching, define success and create plans with clear deliverables, execute PR strategies, work with the Founder and Admin/Account Coordinator, monthly reporting
Gain and maintain deep familiarity with the client's product, services, competition, and market
Create and distribute valuable, relevant, and consistent content that gets results
Write news releases, pitches, web site copy, etc
Effectively manage, track, and evolve client PR goals
Identify when outside contractors are needed (e.g. website design or photography,) project manage through execution
Proactive thinking to help identify opportunities that position us as an essential strategic partner
Coordinate and staff media events
Represent clients at events on occasion
Attend monthly all-team meetings (often online)
Disseminate and manage projects with the Account Coordinator/Administrative Assistant for tracking media hits, reporting, creating custom PR contact lists, and other client projects
Manage and monitor the effectiveness of campaigns through regular check-ins and end of month reporting
Deliver an exceptional client experience with proactive communication
Accountable for client’s overall success

Qualifications include:
Minimum of 3-5 years PR experience required
Prior agency experience required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar field preferred
Positive outlook and go-getter attitude
Excellent communication and writing skills
Knowledge of/experience with the food and beverage industries, including outlets that sell food/beverages, food- and beverage-related organizations, and CPG
Knowledge and experience supporting “people and planet health” a VERY big plus
Strong work ethic, self-motivated. Ability to work remotely and independently
Exceptional time management skills. High level of organization and attention to detail
Ability to juggle multiple clients simultaneously
Flexibility
Professional conduct within and outside the agency
Proficient with Google Drive, Google Calendars, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Slides/PowerPoint
