Junichi Yamazaki

My name is Junichi Yamazaki, currently living in Denver CO. I have been working as a freelance CG designer for more than 5 years, as well as teaching several computer graphic applications such as 3ds max, Maya, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator at some digital art schools and at a university. Before starting my career as a designer, I worked in the import/export division of an eyewear company for another 5 years, doing business with wholesalers and chain stores in the US, Europe, and Asia. My job was creating new eyewear designs for various worldwide fashion brands. In addition, I controlled the production line, managed all shipments, took care of the accounting ... well, basically, I did everything. Through my design work I discovered Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and I became more interested in computer graphics and visual effects. I love making things. Not only am I interested in making 3D models, animation, and motion graphics, but I also enjoy photography, drawing, assembling guitar effectors, building furniture, fixing motorcycles and bicycles...and more. I look forward to meeting other creative people who are working on interesting projects.

I am a film director, editor, writer and conceptual designer. My best skill is turning jumbles of information into coherent stories, whether the end result is a feature film, commercial video, website or marketing copy. I love to write. I love to edit. I love to collaborate.

Melanie Krauss

I graduated in May from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a degree in Film Studies and English Literature. I'm currently working for the International Bicycle Film Festival in hopes of learning more about marketing and event production, as well as how film festivals are created and facilitated. My goal is to eventually produce television or film, which requires a lot of experience and knowledge about the entire production process. I'm looking for production assistant jobs to learn as much as possible about how a show or film is created both on an industrial level and smaller, independent level. I'd also like to work more in marketing and public relations, branding products and events that I'm passionate about. I'm very good at fusing my ideas with others and working collaboratively on larger projects, but I also enjoy the freedom of full creative control. I thrive when my calendar is filled to the brim, I excel in stressful situations, I enjoy self-educating, I'm a self-starter and I become deeply involved in projects that are dedicated to producing something new and different. I always exceed expectations and remain very focused and goal-oriented. I'm ready to work hard for anyone that gives me an opportunity related to film, or art direction. Working my way up from the bottom isn't a problem, but more of an exciting challenge. I know that at age 22 my goals and dreams are viable to expand, which is why I'm open to a variety of creative careers. I believe that action is the best device for learning, and thus I'm ready to work hard for anyone that will give me the opportunity.

Mrs. K

Mrs. K is a real person (as much as anyone is in this business). She is practical, plain speaking and wildly creative. Mrs. K cares a lot about what she does. Her simple desire is to work with creative people – from directors, writers, designers, cinematographers, producers and animators, all the way through to those who commission her. Mrs. K works in a wide range of techniques including live action, 2D and 3D. These vary from project to project, but her consistent belief is that good design, strong storytelling and a full belly are the important virtues. Mrs. K is experienced. She is not only a dreamer, but a doer. She makes stuff up and then makes it happen. She’s got chops. Her intimate yet wholesome relationship with world-class post-production facility, Splice Here, provides Mrs. K the technical backbone to tackle even the most daunting of projects. Physically, Mrs. K resides in the foothills of Colorado and the great plains of Minnesota. Spiritually, she is wherever people hunger for creative vision, beautiful imagery and a great hunk of pie.

One 5 Media

One 5 Media got its start in the dirt. Hey, everyone’s gotta start somewhere, right? In the summer of 2007, we traveled the western US with a handful of snowboarders longing for the winter and a little known sport called mountainboarding. With spring suspension and four pneumatic tires, these boarders suddenly saw the world in a different way as they took their riding off road and into the wild. The result was the first ever, high definition mountainboard film and the establishment of a new genre of action sports media. Just like those mountainboarders, who took their boards to the dirt, we like to look at things a little differently too. That’s why every image we create and every project we produce has its own, fresh perspective. One 5 Media is a full service production company based in Boulder, Colorado with an innovative staff and a passion for compelling imagery. Whether it be engaging video content or stunning photography, when your project is finished, it’s going to look good.
