Born in Colorado, raised just outside of Boulder. As well as being a graphic designer and artist, I do love the stage, costumes, film and most importantly acting. I got my start in middle school, along with writing out sketches, and improv-ing within them, I continued to act in high school. My first big show, was a one act in my freshman year, I was a wee fourteen year old with a lot of energy and drive to leave my comfort zone. Within my high school years I participated in nine different shows, one acts and two full plays. I was in the Advanced Drama class for two years. This class was for the best of the best and was an audition only admittance. I play Ms. Berg in FAME, the strict dance teacher, and what I will with humor and seriousness, my magnum opus, was the role of Jonathan in Arsenic and Old Lace. Playing a man was a rewarding challenge. I learned that I am, indeed, drawn to sinister characters with attitude and sass. I made such good friends because of acting, and it was truly something I will remember for a long time. Acting empowered me. I wouldn't be the same person if I had never pursued it. Outside of high school, I have been in three of my sister's films for her CU classes. Most recently a a short film for a Film student friend in which I also did voice overs. I made my own film for an art class at CU, which I did not film, but directed and acted in. As of today I am working on a short film with my CU art student friend for her final junior year project. I take direction, I study actors and their methods. I am always willing to learn. I can provide a creative outlook on many aspects of acting and direction.
