I am a new graduate, as of May 2014, and I am finishing up an Experiential Marketing Internship in Chicago, IL at Geometry Global, formerly Ogilvy & Mather. I have a degree in BBA with a concentration in Marketing from the Dillard College of Business at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX.
Marketing and advertising has always been a passion of mine as I grew up in a family of fun and creative artists and advertisers. Watching their successful and exciting careers has truly inspired me to see how much I can accomplish through my own career.
During my internship at Geometry Global I have come to love the very fast pace world of Experiential Marketing. There is always something new and exciting happening every day! My experience here has been priceless and I have had the chance to work with some amazing people who have taught me so much over this summer. Since I have been here, we have launched many nationwide programs for Hornitos Tequila, Jim Beam, Ice Surge, Sauza Sparkling, Sauza 901 Tequila, Ford, BlueCross and BlueShield, as well as Shout and Scrubbing Bubbles.
As the summer comes to an end I have started my job search in the Greater Denver Area. I have always loved the mountains and outdoors and I could not imagine a more beautiful place to live and work. Excited is an understatement concerning my move to Colorado!
I have over eight years of experience in customer service, in which I was able to experience some event planning, as well as sales and promotions. Working in as many vastly different environments as I can has always been something I have striven for. My customer service experience varied from working in a small restaurant, voted top 10 best new restaurants in the nation, to working for a Certified Public Accountant, to working in the world's largest "Honky Tonk", Billy Bob's Texas. I learn quickly and am easily adaptable, to say the least!
I am looking for an entry-level position in the marketing and advertising, promotions, or pr world. I hope to connect with as many new people as I possibly can!
Thank you for your time.
