Nike Designer Develops Icon System for Game of Thrones' House of Westeros Sigils

Like most of us, Darrin Crescenzi, a designer at Nike in Portland, was captivated by George R.R. Martin’s in-depth descriptions of each character’s heraldry from the Game of Thrones — and the ways in which their symbols seemed to establish a “brand” for each family. He hadn’t seen a design take on the sigils that he liked, so he began a personal mission to craft an icon for each of them. They reside in a hand-numbered poster he put together, which has unfortunately sold out. You can see additional photos of his project here.
