15,000 Lanterns in the Polish Sky Set World Record
To celebrate the summer solstice on June 21 (also known as the night of St. John), the people of Poznan, in Poland, set a new Guinness World Record by releasing 15,000 paper lanterns into the sky. The event was organized by ARS Fundacja — a foundation that helps promote creativity, culture and the arts.
