All of a sudden I was completely bewildered, lost and my stomach dropped wondering what on earth I was watching that fat pervert and stupid shit for. Seriously the most outrageous!
Phew, then I realized I was watching this non-profit Ogilvy Cape Town YouTube Campaign, safely on the Egotist.
The images of the bloody rhino made me empathetically react.
That is the most powerful reaction I have ever had on the Internet. Very intelligent to use the infamous waste of time/entertainment for a real vital cause that needs action.
There is not a minascule comparison for winning madd oposition or accusation of misleading abuse in an objective that needs to be taken care ASAP yesterday. Both videos are disturbing. The creator could use a popular video that was fun and not so gross, but it would lose the effect and serious sidenote.
I skipped this over without checking it out, but this is certainly one of the most innovative uses of social media and online video! I must be an Amish vigilante bystander to this sort of Internet use; it is very educational!
