After 141 ayes and only 33 nays, the residents of Juzcar — a small town in Southern Spain — voted to keep the town blue, the color used for a recent Smurf movie by Sony Pictures that was shot there. Though the agreement called for Sony to repaint the houses back to their original colors, now that the filming is complete, a dramatic increase in tourism caused residents to want keep the color. From 300 tourists a year to now over 80,000, Smurf Town it is!
