PETA likes to take any chance it can get to grab the publicity spotlight by crying "Animal Rights!" But when they did it on W+K's latest spot for Dodge, they failed to realize that W+K is a lot cleverer than they are.

Wieden digitally removed the chimp that was used in the ad (and now refer to him as the "invisible monkey" in the revised voice over).

Hilarious.

UPDATE: The Taiwanese have animated the entire incident in the third spot below to make the whole story resemble one giant cartoon.

Kind of like PETA does with Pam Anderson's wardrobe in every ad. FYI–naked chicks don't make me like animals more, they make me like naked chicks. Now if they want to talk about disappearing monkeys; then I have a great magic trick I'd like to show them personally.
