Gap launched a new loyalty program called “Sprize” on Robson Street in Vancouver recently – allowing people to buy clothing at full price and receive automatic credits should the merchandise go on sale in the next 45 days. The tagline, “Shopping turned on its head,” is used for the campaign, and put into demonstration in the Robson Street store where everything was flipped upside down – including cars and hot dog carts on the street outside. It’s interesting to note that this falls right in line with an AdAge article from last week that talked about How Experiences are Becoming the New Advertising.
