Snickers’ new campaign, centered on a make-believe language called Snacklish in which they typeset funky, new words in place of the Snickers name, is unfolding to our delight. Here’s a great :15 spot featuring Patrick Ewing. Who knew you could pack so much joy into such a shorty? That’s what she said. Agency: TBWA/Chiat/Day, New York.

It’s funny, don’t get me wrong. But I don’t get it.

How the hell is he Patrick Chewing? He wasn’t even eating a Snickers.
judging by his gut he’s been doing plenty of snickers chewing since he retired. One thing that bugs me is the different pitch of the italics. Would it have been that hard to make sure they matched up?
Genius! I haven’t laughed that loud in a long time.
The outdoor is good too. Though not as funny as Patrick Chewing.
