You know, there are some really smart people working on the Apple account at TBWA Media Arts Labs in Playa del Rey. Instead of designing a spot to rip into Microsoft’s new campaign, they create this gem spotlighting the money Microsoft is spending on its advertising vs. its R&D to fix Vista. Fantastic.

Even better: I can’t remember the source, but maybe someone more studious than myself can dig it up BUT there was a focus group conducted recently about the Mac spots. And a majority of people polled thought the PC guy from these spots was the actual Microsoft spokesman.

Now that’s brilliant marketing.

but I thought Bill Gates did those spots for free and Jerry did it because he loves Vista.. :-)
