The New Pepsi Logo Looks Like an Asscrack

Pepsi has redesigned their logo. According to the company, “The white band in the middle of the logo will now loosely form a series of smiles.” We think it resembles something else – a hoochie on display.

Nice jeans, chola!

I think they’re trying to say they’re voting for Obama

i have to ask, what was wrong with the original? or are they trying to be more hip and entice the “running around with your g-string hanging out your jeans” crowd? good call.

I think it’s weird that they would modify it into some sort of a PacMan asscrack. My question is Why? What brand agency sold that idea in as strategic? “Let’s pitch redesigning the logo to fit our new ad campaign idea.” So, when the campaign is done “smiling” (in more ways than one), Pepsi will be stuck with a lasting reminder of how they bought this logo. … And will most likely redesign it again.

I look at what Walmart did to their logo — a puckering butthole and what Pentagram’s interns did for MillerCoors and I wonder if big brand agencies are losing their edge.

It looks like David Letterman had something to do with it.

I think it’s genius. It’s clearly a logo that speaks to the common man, Joe Plumber.

It sucks.

That’s got to be a joke. Any link to official company press releases available? That “new logo” is fugly beyond rational defensibility.

Some info here, Warren.

According to this article the black line creating an ass crack isn’t part of the proposed logo.

That’s the joke, Andy. Might be time for a cocktail, brother.

Ahhh, damn Pepsi, you lookin’ good girlll!

this is a joke right? its now a 4 color logo? and I imagine that it would reduce horribly. the ass crack will disappear instantly. then all that wonderful design will be for nothing.

If you take the crack line off, instead an ass hanging out you some tighties hanging out. Give him a wedgie!

I wonder if overhauling their image will somehow make their product taste better.

that image is ripped off.

weak..

it’s a hoax.
