A Union Jack Update?

/ Comments (1)

CR Blog has just posted that Margaret Hodge, the culture minister in the UK, has pledged to consider a redesign of the union flag to incorporate the Welsh dragon. The crisscrossing lines on the current flag represent only three of the four constituencies in England, leaving out the Welsh. Should the whiny Welsh get their way?

The simple answer to that is no, they bloody well should not. The flag colours are in there, and honestly I cannot see the public at large allowing such a bold and blatant change to the flag. And as an aside, Margaret Hodge knows about as much about culture as Gordon Brown knows about running a country.
