God bless this dude, Charles Van Loucks, for coming up with what's perhaps the best media placement ever conceived by a filmmaker looking to break into the biz — to have his ad appear on DVD inside the $85,000-valued swag bag handed out at the Oscars. But you gotta put as much brilliance into the commercial as you do into the placement, man. Especially when that's the job you're chasing.
