CP+B and P.INK Launch Indiegogo Campaign to Crowdfund Scar-Coverage Tattoos for Breast Cancer Survivors
We've previously posted on CP+B's non-profit passion project P.INK — a unique online platform that presents tattoos as a healing option for mastectomy patients. After a mastectomy, many breast cancer survivors are left with scars and often, no nipples. So P.INK was launched as a curated collection of design inspiration, artist links and support messages for women seeking creative control over their post-op bodies.
Yesterday, CP+B and P.INK put their mission into action, announcing a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to pay for the scar coverage tattoos of 10 breast cancer survivors by 10 of the country’s best tattoo artists. This will go down at an inaugural event they’re throwing in NYC during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Wonderful way to give back.
