O’Brien Advertising Wins Woman-owned Business of the Year by the Denver Chamber of Commerce

/ Comments (2)

The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce has named O’Brien Advertising the Top Woman/Minority-Owned Business of the Year for 2013. This recognition supports the recent advertising industry movement acknowledging the value of women in key creative roles. Nationally, only 3% of Creative Directors in advertising agencies are women. O’Brien defies those statistics with two female Creative Directors. Executive Creative Director and Owner of O’Brien Advertising, Terri O’Brien, recently hired Lori Mayfield as Creative Director to add to its estrogen-influenced creative.

"As The 3% Movement gains momentum and businesses are focusing more on the fact that 80% of marketing decisions are made by women, it’s strategically on point to engage more female creative directors to shape creative that appeals to the nation’s largest target audience."

Congratulations from the rest of us, who clearly need to do some catching up.

From one woman-owned business to another - congrats.

SO GREAT. Congrats! Even though we have not yet met I love your agency and it's work.
