Denver's Futuristic and Director Jasper Gray Help Create a New Anthem for Outdoor Gear Brand Marmot

Futuristic has just finished up a new national broadcast spot for Marmot. The script and the new tagline, 'What gives you life," were developed by Marmot's agency, Barkley — and the spot was designed to focus on the emotional connection between people and the outdoors across many different seasons, environments and activities. Working out of backpacks, often with little or no crew, Futuristic director Jasper Gray and cinematographer Frank Pickell shot with Marmot-sponsored athletes and brand ambassadors on locations throughout Colorado, California and Wyoming.

"It was important to us not just to show a montage of action sports footage and beautiful places, but to really communicate the feelings and excitement of the people we photographed. The music also needed to bring this spirit to life and, luckily, we were able to collaborate with Denver-based musical genius Nathaniel Rateliff. Nathaniel was in town between tours and we were able to record with him at Mighty Fine Productions, the recording studio right across from our office on Larimer."

What a beautiful spot Jasper! You and your team did an awesome job. Love the original audio too, it helps deliver the AWE that the cinematography brings to the table.
