Old Navy and The Backstreet Boys Introduce The Skinny Jean that's Not Just for Models - Via CP+B

/ Comments (2)

This fall, Old Navy launches a universally flattering skinny jean for all. With more stretch added, The Rockstar Skinny Jean "looks great on all shapes." CP+B figured there’s no better way to invite everybody to rock their body in Rockstar Skinny Jeans than iconic boys band, the Backstreet Boys, and their megahit, “Everybody.”

The spot follows a guerrilla fashion show — themed "the most inclusive fashion show ever" — thrown by Old Navy last Friday, on the heels of the exclusive New York Fashion Week. To prove that The Rockstar is a perfect fit for everybody, Old Navy invited more than 700 women of all shapes and sizes to put on the jeans and walk the runway at the “Fit for Fall Fashion Show for All” in Bryant Park. Hosted by Jenny McCarthy, the event also featured a performance by the Backstreet Boys.

Maybe I'm not cynical enough, but this seems pretty smart to me.

Agreed.
