Factory Design Labs 3.0 Launches with New Website
Along with launching a second office outside of Denver in Verbier, Switzerland recently, the rumblings that a third Factory Design Labs office will be opening in Shanghai, China seem to be confirmed today with the launch of their FDL 3.0 website — which features three office locations, along with a hefty selection of tasty lifestyle-brand work front and center. Awesome progress.
"Factory and our clients are eager to rapidly accelerate brand growth in China and Europe, two of the most critical markets for premium lifestyle brands," said Bob Reimer, Factory' Vice President of Global Operations. "We made the bold decision to open offices staffed with the best local and global creative talent because we didn't want to assume global market relevance. Our new teams in Europe and Asia will help our brands grow their businesses by connecting with culture-driven consumers in local markets."

Factory is crushing it. Nice work for sure.
Site looks nice, great to see more of what Factory does beyond the work.
Very nice!
Love it. Doesn't feel like your typical site - good mix of work/culture and a good UI. Keep it up!
Egotist should see if they can get a behind-the-scenes session with one of the engineers. Would love to get a peek at what this is built on and who created it. Really nice site, responsive design, seems speedy, not exactly semantic HTML5 but pretty clean code overall. Would love to know more about it.
slow for me. anyone else? scrolling lag is annoying. great design.
never been a fan of their logo really. wish they'd update it.
Incredible visuals - but far too tricky to be very functional.
Gorgeous site guys, nice work.
The new site is best yet for Factory. I like the look behind the curtain finally. Amazing places and projects. Nice job
This website is a big step in the direction they needed to go. I agree that the logo needs changed, or at least a flat version of it because it looks ultra cheap when it's faux 3D like that next to nice flat vector looking graphics.
Tight. Bitches. Tight.
Crazy cool. Nice work Factory.
Super solid! Nice work guys.
Guarantee that Factory's Shanghai office is a Chinese voicemail box.
Factory is all image and no substance and this site is no exception.
Of course, there's finally a negative message. Not sure why people hate on this place so much, they make beautiful stuff. And I'm sorry that's not enough for certain trolls.
Mellin can eat a bag of dicks.
Until he leaves, Factory will get no respect and struggle. To all the rest of Factory- nice work.

Say what you want about him, but Mellin is a big reason of Factory's success.
F/laccid
I know I'm only kindling the fire, but the fire could be put out in the first place. Tell me where to meet you, and I will gladly punch you in the face. Thanks always, anonymous douchebag. May you never get a job in Denver.
Nice work Factory! Site looks great.
I actually like Mellin.
The site is a nice representation of the work and the people at Factory. Haters are going to hate, if you're not controversial you likely are not taking chances. Well done.
The development of this site sucks. You click on the work and it doesn't run. You have to go to the bottom and click "view work." Then it gives you the campaign and you have to click "view work" for each individual piece of creative. You never have all the clients on one page. It's random. If you want to know who the clients are, you have to hope they appear. Dumb, lazy development. This site is typical Factory. All fluff, no substance. No wonder there's been a mass exodus of all the real talent in that place.
