CP+B Redesigns Domino's Pan Pizza Boxes

The box's design centers around Domino’s commitment to transparency, by exposing a “dirty little secret” of the pizza business: most of the pan pizzas that people are eating are made with frozen dough. Domino's, however, uses fresh dough that's never frozen. To highlight this, CP+B created the nearly all-black box as a visual reminder that the pizza inside was both handmade and baked directly in a pan, while the outside of the box is loaded with fun facts. (Like how it took three whole years to develop, and how each is made with fresh, never frozen dough.)

The Domino's pizza boxes were pretty iconic, but this is pretty awesome. Is that metallic ink? Nice!
*hi fiiive!
I like this. :) Good job to everyone involved!
I just got one of these the other day. And while the box looks beautiful and is really well done, it gave me zero inclination of this statement:
"... all-black box as a visual reminder that the pizza inside was both handmade and baked directly in a pan..."
I did think to myself, "holy shit, a black pizza box--nice," when I picked it up though. So I guess that's still a win?
those are pretty dope actually. classin up the pizza delivery bizz.
Wow it's rare that a huge agency can get design dialed super tight but this is first class. Their take on the logo was very well done too. Congrats to Crispin. Totally a step in the right direction.
It's nice to see good design integrated into the strategy.
Very very nice and tasteful - the box, not the pizza...
Love the design for the design. But black box doesn't seem very appetizing.
Love this...and I trash CP+B as a hobby.
hipster branding at it's finest
Looks great - but all that ink coverage is not very sensitive to the environment.
(Minor consideration for most people - but just sayin.')
This proves the point that there are many ways to polish a turd. I wish the agency would influence Dominos to make a healthier pizza. I can't believe they have XL pizzas on their menu that have around 4850 calories. And again, I'm not their target demographic.
Rant aside, nice design!
