Bulking up their creative and account services divisions, gyro Denver has made a major move this week hiring two industry vets. Aaron Stern, an award-winning, 17-year industry veteran, has joined gyro Denver as the new Executive Creative Director. Stern has a strong history of pitching and winning top clients. Most recently, at TBWA\Chiat\Day, he led the team that pitched and won Accenture. He also worked on other clients including Skittles, Jameson and Vonage. Stern’s work has won some of the industry’s biggest awards at Cannes, One Show, the Effie Awards, Mercury Awards, Kelley Awards and Communication Arts Annual. Here's some of his noteworthy-est work.

Secondly, Steve Barry joins gyro Denver as Director of Client Service. Another industry veteran, Barry comes to gyro from Goodby in San Francisco, where he worked on a variety of accounts including TiVo, AT&T, Saturn and Subway. He's also led accounts at Portland's Wieden + Kennedy, Miami's Crispin, Porter + Bogusky as well as Denver's Sukle Advertising & Design. Welcome back, Steve.

Welcome back Steve. Lets hang. Glad you're back in town.

When will Gyro make the same move in Chicago? How can you have these guys in Denver and fifth rate hacks running Chicago?

Might be time to move here, friend.
