The Communitree: The World's First Digital Decorating Event - Via Deeplocal and Boulder's Made

/ Comments (0)

Today at 12pm ET, an interactive, tree-trimming robot will let anyone, anywhere in the world, remotely decorate a single Christmas tree. With every ornament it places, $5 will be donated to Toys for Tots to help kids in need this holiday season. The goal is to reach $20,000.

The entire event will be live streamed, with two actors awkwardly living on set for the full time. You can tweet at them via #communitree or call these two fine gentleman directly on set at 864-XMAS-FUN. The concept's from Deeplocal in Pittsburgh, along with Boulder's Made Movement.
