Denver Artist Pays Respect to The Beastie Boys

The recent passing of Adam Yauch has jolted other artists throughout the world to pay homage through their respected art forms. Denver's Thomas “Detour” Evans has done just that with his audio enabled painting of The Beastie Boys. This 4’x3’ painting was completed in May and is displayed at the office of local clothing company, The Gro Project. It features the rap group painted on top of vinyl records and a built-in speaker (located in the top right corner).
