Love it!
Why do people hate on designers using there skills to raise money for victims of tragic events ? maybe because it reeks of self promotion ?
To me, having been to a school that used groundzero and New Orleans for design, it is an issue of actuall talent, besides relying on the energy of something so big in social awareness and effort. It's like jumping on the bandwagon. Especially if you can't empathize. Design can be personal or inspired, but is strongest when it is a repetitive method. There is nothing wrong with it, but you should be a 100percent up to criticism and how to respond. There are people doing serious aid there and that work is the real changing difference to fix the disaster.
Why dont the helpers and victims get a say of the designs? And to design?
If I were seriously supporting the issue I would be very careful in the branded message I wore.
