Ex-New Kid on the Block Sings the Old Navy Summer Catalog

/ Comments (2)

He's sold over a bajillion albums — and now Jordan Knight's turning his talents to summer catalogs. Starting today, he'll be singing the Old Navy Summer Catalog, just for ON customers on Facebook. The FB tab lives at www.jordansingsoldnavy.com, where Jordan describes each Old Navy summer item in song. On the site, visitors can download a free megamix by Jordan — a club remixed version of all of the songs.

The catalog is launching with an online infomercial, Jordan's tweeting it up this morning and a TV spot will follow next week. Silky sweet. Agency: CP+B, Boulder.

I don't understand why my comment was removed from this post as I was being honest! It wasn't meant to belittle cpb and their employees! I shouldn't have to fear a company who has such a position from my crowdsourced opinion, when it is kept classy and respectable, from a perspective consumer.

I really like retro Infomercial catalogues. I think this is a brilliant digital concept that must be very popular in numbers I am not watching. I do not shop at old navy. I might think about it if the people weren't so god damn stupid in them? I grew up with stupid. Stupid is retarded. It only hurts our countries image as a whole. I don't try honestly to feed people on by it, as I see it as embarrassing.

I do have the guts to say this. In today's recession, little changes like this might make sales directly porportionate. Hell, it might even make your employees hate you less and healthier.

They might even be less self driven to be on top of the awesome advert hep? NO! Well, probably most definitely not, but one couldn't even imagine...!

Have fun concepting and art directing the overly stupid. What a cool place to bs?

correction.....Jordan Knight is not an ex-New Kid On The Block.....he is still a member of the boy band (now man band) and they are together and have done numerous tours over the last several years selling out every venue thay go to.....they have even sold out 4 carnival cruises in just a matter of hours after going on sale the last 4 years.....dont know how you could say "ex" to that
