Stevinson Speed Shop T-Shirts - Via TunnelBravo

Not totally sure why the Stevinson car dealerships based here in Denver-metro are using a Gilbert, Arizona agency to design their swag, but the result is pretty nice. It'll appear on t-shirts and other stuff that gets handed out at various events Stevinson sponsors this summer.

From the design you would expect Stevinson to be a cool HotRod or custom car shop, then you go to their website (linked from the design company's post) and see the first "featured" car is a Ford Taurus.

I will say it's a cool design though. Would be nice if it appeared to match the style and attitude of the brand.

are you saying someone is being misleading in advertising?

Can't go wrong with a Spark Plug

Why should the design match the brand? design has nothing to do with forwarding the established image and concept of a company, it doesn't have to match the companies mission statement. Design is about copying what the cool kids© are making.Right now the cool kids are into olden timey fonts and "un-informed graphical decisions" made by "non-designers" in the 1950's. Stevenson could have saved them selves a shit ton of money by re-using all the ads he had from the fifities.

No that never happens. I'm sure there are at least 2 spark plugs in a Ford Taurus, maybe even more!

I thought TDA was AOR for Stevinson? Aren't they a design firm?
