Ghost Bike Memorial Appears for Hit-and-Run Victim Dan Peterson

/ Comments (2)

An all-white bicycle with a bouquet of yellow flowers is now locked to a street pole on Lincoln at 6th Avenue — an intersection where cyclist Dan Peterson collided with a car whose driver allegedly stole the bike and fled from the scene. Dan, who died from his injuries, was a Senior Associate at Denver PR firm JohnstonWells. The ghost bike, like many placed across the world, marks another sad biker fatality. But this is a memorial for one of our own. If you know anything about the crime, you're encouraged to call Crime Stoppers 720-913-STOP.
