Cherry Hills Country Club Is Where It All Begins

Cherry Hills Country Club in the hoity-toity Denver suburb of Cherry Hills Village will host the 112th Men’s U.S. Amateur golf tournament from August 13-16, 2012. Cherry Hills asked Denver's Karsh\Hagan to promote the U.S. Amateur and design the logo, tickets, pairing sheets, credentials and advertising — including print radio and television. The theme developed by KH for the tournament is “Where It All Begins.”

KH Art Director, Nick Marranzino, explained the theme this way: “Many young aspiring golfers use the Amateur as a springboard to join the Nationwide and tours. Tiger, Mickelson and, essentially all of the greats, won the Amateur. This is where it all begins.”

The spot focuses on the Championship winners that have graced the Cherry Hills links over the past hundred years. while hosting a number of high level events. This includes Palmer, Nicklaus, Mickelson and Woods among others.
