  • CP+B Names Chief Creative Officer for Boulder Office

    / Comments (0)

CP+B has announced that they've named award-winning creative director Ralph Watson as Chief Creative Officer, CP+B, Boulder. In this role, he'll be responsible for all creative output from CP+B, Boulder. In December of 2013, CP+B announced their migration to a more decentralized structure, giving their individual offices increased autonomy while still offering clients access to CP+B’s extensive global capabilities.

Prior to joining CP+B, Watson was with BBDO helping to lead the Bud Light campaign. Before that he was Associate Partner heading up the Goodby Silverstein office in Detroit and overseeing Chevrolet, their biggest account. During his career, he has worked from coast to coast in the U.S. including Leonard/Monahan, Team One, Arnold, Saatchi & Saatchi, NY and BBDO. Watson has art directed and creative directed work for a wide variety of clients that has been repeatedly awarded at Cannes, One Show, Andy’s, Clios, Art Directors Club and D&AD with work for a number of high profile clients including Miller High Life, Fruit by the Foot, and AT&T.

“Like many people in our business, I have always kept a really close eye on CP+B with a mixture of respect, admiration and at times almost hate. Hate stemming from jealousy and a desire to do what they have done — rewriting the rules of advertising to rules that we all now follow. They are creative, smart, honest and fearless and the chance to once again rewrite the rules with them and do truly breakthrough, outrageously effective work is something I am incredibly excited to be a part of,” said Ralph Watson.

    Welcome to Colorado, Ralph.

  • The First Music Video for a Classical Composer Features Twerking South Korean Ladies

B-Classic, a Belgian festival promoting classical music, wanted a younger and bigger audience to experience classical music. So DDB Brussels took classical music where people listen to and discover new music — YouTube. The music video they created combines the timeless emotion of classical music with the visual talent of a contemporary director, in turn, giving classical music the same appeal as contemporary pop and rock. Twerrrk.
