Design By Colorado Exhibition Features Some of Colorado’s Leading Designers

/ Comments (2)

DIA’s Art and Culture Program, Arts & Venues Denver’s Create Denver initiative, and Colorado Creative Industries have brought together 28 of Colorado’s creative businesses — from furniture designers, to interior designers; marketing companies to clothing designers — and put their creations on display in the Charles Ansbacher Hall, located between Jeppesen Terminal and A Gates security screening at Denver International Airport. Just in time for the fall and holiday travel seasons, Design by Colorado kicks off the 2012 Year of Design at DIA, in which the airport’s temporary exhibitions will feature design — connecting viewers to this diverse and vibrant field. It is a great celebration, and promotion of, creative industries in CO.

The promotional video for the exhibition features Governor John Hickenlooper; Ben Anderson, founder of Icelantic Skis; Jeff Newell, president of Newell Design; and Jeff Faine, owner of Avenue Two: Design. The piece was produced by Dennis O'Brien, D(Squared) Digital, with motion graphics by Tabor Carlton.
