Skillshare: Learn Anything from Anyone

Skillshare is a marketplace for offline classes. Anyone can create and sell tickets for a class. The minds behind the idea believe that everyone has valuable skills and knowledge to teach and the curiosity to keep learning new things. They also think that our neighborhoods, communities and cities are really the world's greatest universities.

Our pals up at Boulder Digital Works are interested in getting people to start teaching classes in the Denver/Boulder area. We think that's a pretty fine idea. What do you know how to do that you could teach the rest of us?

BTW, we only need 391 more votes to unlock Boulder and have Skillshare expand to our area. Voting is as simple as providing your email address. Once the city “tips” at 500 email addresses and Skillshare sees at least 50 Pilot Classes listed in the area, the'll unlock your city. Unlocking the city, means they'll assign a Special Ops team who'll hit the ground to find teachers, venues and ensure that Boulder kicks off with a wicked party. So, go vote.
