Karsh\Hagan Launches its Most Integrated Campaign Ever for American Crew

/ Comments (18)

To introduce American Crew's Trichology Hair Recovery System, Denver's Karsh\Hagan has just launched a campaign meant to get men to question the relationship between their environment and hair loss.

Through an extremely impressive effort that took 8 months to complete, the campaign is 'integrated' in the truest sense of the word – including 100 brand content videos shot by Denver's Roshambo Films, national print in GQ, Men's Health and ESPN, out-of-home in NYC, Chicago and San Francisco, guerrilla, text messaging, ambient, packaging and POS – all pointing to a sharp website developed by Denver's The1stMovement.

Congratulations to K\H's lead creative team, Matt Ingwalson (Senior Copywriter) and Sean Topping (Senior Art Director) as well as Brian Suter (Junior Art Director), on assembling this incredible show-piece campaign for Denver.

Great work from K/H. It's a shame the lost the account....

If the old rumors are true, looking at those images won't cause hair loss at all. Hairy palms anyone?

Nice campaign. Best work out of Denver/Boulder in a long time.

Is the narrator reading the script in a library?

KH still has the American Crew work.

They just lost the old timey creative director, hince the new school advertising.

Nice work boys. Nice.

Awesome work guys.

Really great stuff. Who's the new CD now, that's some killer work? And Matt Ingwalson's reputation is solid, too.

This is one of those campaigns people in other cities who have no idea what goes on in Denver need to see.

Agreed, Chris. We sent K\H our big list of blog contacts to hit with their PR. Spread the goodness around!

Really nice stuff, and the best part, they used a local production company!

by the way, as someone with a bald head I can tell you exactly what caused my hair loss. My great grandfather was bald, my grandfather was bald, my dad is bald, one of my aunts went bald, this is not rocket science. It's in the genes. Some people think balding is a sign of evolution though, and that;s why all those aliens in movies are bald. So in that case, I'm just way more advanced than most of you. At least, that's what I keep telling myself.

so, American crew keeps hair from falling out? what does all this content mean? Sure making tons of movies and sites and putting messages on dirty walls is great, but if there's no idea......

Thanks for the post and all the kudos. It was a blast to work on with everyone at Karsh and 1st Movement. Big shout out to my amazing crew, all the experts and everyone at Idolum...including Robin, Bob and William B. Rock on.

Thanks for the kind words, everybody! We're busy on our next campaign for American Crew. Should launch in September. Stay tuned.

Although I know actors are always playing docs and such for testimonials-you really should not have your actors posting your videos on sites available to the greater public. I've seen at least 2 of your experts
posting their spots on some acting site, totally discrediting the professional testimonial -the black and white ones-if those are the same ones these print ads link to. Now I cant believe a word they're saying.

Being bald never hurt Sean Connery, Bruce Willis.

Head and Shoulders, these are not actors. They are professional doctors, stylists, personal trainers and so on. Every expert's bio is posted on the reverse of his or her video on hairloss.americancrew.com.

Maybe some of them do acting on the side or are using their videos to try to get some camera work? That's cool.

Love how this turned out guys! Big idea. Solid execution. Still like the other boobs models better, though. ;)
