Arcade Fire Borrows Rococo from New Age Dad

Denver band New Age Dad (made up of local creative day-jobbers) sent us this funny note regarding one of their recent tracks, called Rococo.

We're not sure if this is actually news, but ...

We released a song called "Rococo" three months ago. Track four on the forthcoming Arcade Fire album Suburbs is called "Rococo."

We are from North America. Arcade Fire is from North America. Hmmmmm.

Arcade Fire is about as exciting as khaki pants.

On second thought, make that pleated khaki pants.

Arcade Fire played at Red Rocks with LCD Soundsystem. LCD Soundsystem released a song on their last album titled "North Amercian Scum." Coincidence? I think not.

It's an 18th century form of art, anyone can call their song Rococo and pretend they just knew that off the tops of their head :) good song

Okay so the songs may have the same name but there's a difference; Arcade Fire's song is actually good. That gross vocoder isn't doing anything to spice up a mediocre and rather boring tune, it's just masking what I assume is a bad singing voice.
