Denver's Battalion Wins “Best Unapprovable Beer Name” Contest

/ Comments (1)

Fizz, a word of mouth marketing agency specializing in beer and spirits brands, recently sponsored the Best Unapprovable Beer Name contest, awarding the winner a trip to the 2010 Beer Industry Summit – a gathering of 500 professionals from the beer industry. The idea: come up with the best beer brand name that would never get approved by the TTB, the national governing body for alcohol, tobacco and firearms. Entries from around the country were judged on humor, cleverness in breaking the rules, unapprovability, and general wit. Battalion’s entry for “AK47”, took home the gold.
